Week 3 :]

Today, the Bill of Rights is still necessary. It guarantees certain rights to all individuals without having the government violate it.
6th Amendment:
"In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense."
Why it is important:
The 6th Amendment is significant to all Americans because it provides the accused with legal protection.
It allows the accused the right to a public trial, right of an impartial jury, confrontation with the witnesses, and the right to an attorney.
With it, innocent ones who are accused would be able to establish their innocence.

WEEK 3 HAPPY RLY LATE 4TH OF JULYYY
i feel the Bill of rights is important because it protects people and people's rights.

its necessary today because people get hurt these days and if we don't have any right to protect ourselves, then we'll all get killed and yea...
the bill of rights was created to make sure everything is equal. but i don't think it's doing its job.
THE PRESIDENT!!! WHAT THE HECK? he gets a own branch of his own? i mean the other 2 needs alotta people. but wha'ts the point of a president? a figure head?
ahem...yea i sorta don't really know bout this bt here are some AWOSME PICS!!!
kool rite?
and my favorite topic for the week is
SHOULD WE(THE PEOPLE) SELL ITEMS FOR MARKETED PRICE? OR WHOLE SALE???(LIKE COSCO)
well i feel like that we should do whole sale cuz its cheaper and the whole world would be like cosco...
here are some good things bout it
pros
if there isn't much pay, then no one would have money and labor would be CHEAP!
and people would quit cuz like NO MONEY!
less people working leads to less demand
which all leads up to one thing....
WE GO GREEN! AND BECOME LAZY PPL AND GO BACK TO THE AGE OF CHIMPS! oh yeaaa that'll be AWESOME!!!
Week 3
HAPPY LATE 4TH OF JULY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In this weeks prompt, I think that admendment 3: Protection from quartering of troops is pretty important. It is because, after the boston tea party, the british forced the americans to quarter british troops in their houses.(Quater means to let them stay) This is still important because it prevents soldiers from getting tyranny and stay at people's houses.

Week 3
All of the amendments are necessary today. Without them, our country would be in chaos. One of the amendments is the fourth amendment. In this amendment, we are protected from unreasonable searches and seizures.
How would you like it if someone ran into your house to search it just because they suspect you of something? It wouldnt be very fair, especially if you didn't do anything. They would also have ruined your privacy. With the fourth amendment, many unnecessary searchings, such as these, are prevented.
Your house can only be searched if it is issued by the government and there is a warrant present.

Week 3
The United States, from the first day of its existence, has been a democracy, ruled by the people and social equality for all. For the nation to be a democracy, the people of the nation need rights to make sure that the government won't have too much power. The freedom of religion originated mainly when immigrants came to this country to escape religious persecution, and this has been an important part of the United States. The freedom of speech, press, and petition allow people to let the government know of their opinions so that it will be a country with laws that the majority would agree to. If these freedoms weren't given to us, the United States would soon turn into one with despotic rule, and this wouldn't be much different from when the country was under the rule of the British. That's why the first amendment is important to this country today. :)
